What are "camera server" and "BIO", what can they do?

I am a new commer, could anyone tell me what is camera server and what can it do.

I search some doc, they mention "BIO", what is it?

Hi,

Most of the operations in Symbian OS uses Client-Server model. So when you are writing applications, you just use a client interface to the server. Camera server is one example of this kind of architechture.

BIO is Bearer-independent object. You can send BIO messages for example via SMS. You find BIO messaging examples and documentation from Symbian downloads section of Forum Nokia web site.
