Launch GUI App on Phone startup

Hi,

What's the most reliable way to auto launch a GUI application at phone startup?
(for both Symbian 2nd Edition and 3rd Edition SDK).

The User will start the application manually for the first time and be allowed to change a user setting to say Auto-Start on phone startup.

The GUI App should then contine running and subsequently always startup, in the background, when then phone is rebooted.

with 3rd edition you have to use the start up management API. Before that you could use recognizers, they are quite reliable indeed.

Have a search for the phrase "autostart" on the Wiki.
