N70 - MMAPI Audio Capture Problem

Has anyone encountered problems on N70 java audio capture? The N70 appears not to be able to capture audio for more than 8 seconds or so. I have an application that's already running on different Nokia models for quite sometime. I tested it actually on my older 6600 and had no problem. One of my recent clients complained that he can only record a maximum of 8 seconds on his N70. I'm kind of stuck here because my application is fine with Nokia's S60 2nd Ed emulators. Unfortunately, I don't have N70 to try to figure out what's going on with the MMAPI audio capture. If anyone has similar problem and already find out the walk-around I would appreciate it very much if you can share it with me.

Unfortunately, I don't have N70 with me. My application has been running on different Nokia models already. Only in N70 did I receive this problem. Yes, I did set the record size limit accordingly. His N70 firmware version is 5.0705.3.0.1.

Anyway, I'm almost sure that this is a bug on N70. I just wonder if there's a walkaround on this.
