AIF Icon colors

Hi,

This maybe a silly question but I can't figure out why red color turns to yellow(and yellow turns to red)when building AIF file from bmp files :) I have a cool picture which I would like to use as AIF icon but it is impossible to do that if red color turns to yellow, any ideas? I tried to create simple bmp with just one color(yellow) and same thing happened again.

this is the last line from my MMP file:

AIF myapp.aif ..\aif myapp.rss c8 context_pane_icon.bmp context_pane_icon_mask.bmp list_icon.bmp list_icon_mask.bmp

and I'm using 2nd edition FP3 if that makes any difference.

Try c24 instead of c8.

If you want to have small[er] file size for the icon then c8 is an option but you have to use the epoc palete (can be found somewhere in the SDK, a file with .pal extension if I remember correctly).
