Video streaming in flash lite

Hi,

How Play() method works while streaming and playing remote filefrom sever. How it makes use of device codecs
and device player to play the video. Upto what extent it makes use of device video player.
connecttion and streaming part is done by Flash Lite Client itself? please help on this..

hi,

I guess you can only stream one video at a time.

its a bit tricky to stream video with device codecs, as some people reported that they successfully streamed to realplay, but FL is not streaming. I have heared some success storied with Apple's Darwin Streaming Server.

when you stream device video, you have only control of its playback (play, pause, stop). you cannot change volume, etc. also, video is displayed on top of any flash content, and you cannot put any overlay objects on it.

Can you please explain like which part establishes connection to remote server, which is responsible for streaming, decoding and rendering data? can we do some changes in the flow of current video streaming in flash lite?
