Connecting any microcontroller family to new devices like N95.

Hello,

I have a question, There is a missed straight line to connecting any hardwares and embedded systems for example microcontrollers by legacy protocols like RS232 or newer version USB to new devices of NOKIA. It was available in old devices and it is ready on PC for new devices through the USB. But, How do I that in new devices for embedded right now?
