HTTP Tunnel feasability : sockets, threads

Hi there !

Bored by HTTP restrictions from your provider ?
I'd like to write a GNU HTTP Tunnel compatible client in Python for S60.
An implementation is already available in Java : jhttptunnel.
A very simple java client example: HTC.java

For those who read the source above : since sockets can't be shared between threads, I need some advice for implementation.

Any ideas ?

Since native objects cannot be shared between threads, create a Python muxer which takes input from several threads and forwards its to the thread owning the socket.
