Problem With Access Point Settings Using RConnection..

Hi All,

I have a Peculiar Problem, i have to Set Access Point in my App which logs in to some servers. So i have Used RConnection which works fine when i set it to a Valid GPRS Access Point or a WLAN Access Point. But once i set it to valid one and then Set it back to a Access Point which does not support GPRS it works.it should not na...

can anyone know y?? All suggestions are most welcome..

From the SDK doc "An RConnection is the handle for an application onto an underlying interface. (But there may be a number of RConnections per interface)."

If you are restaring the RConnection instance with new preferences then the handle would point to the the new underlying interface rather then the privious one. Hence it should definitly work.

I have an application that exploits this feature to its fullest. Without it things would have been difficult for us.

I am closing the RConnection instance and restarting it again with new preferences, however this problem still seems to persist..

Let me be more clear abt the problem

I choose a valid Access Point,i use it and later set it to an invalid access point. Now it should not work but however it seems to use the earlier valid access point!!! how do i get rid of this bug, any suggestion???
