Python Imaging Library extension for PyS60?

Is there anyone out there with enough programming knowledge that feels like start writing a PIL-like extension for PyS60 (http://www.pythonware.com/products/pil/)?

Is anyone else interested in more image processing capabilities in PyS60?
Has anyone already written some image processing extensions for PyS60?

hi i m rajendra..
doing project on "face detection on mobile (nokia n 95)". i m using lbp (local binary pattern)based algorithm to implement this. can any body tell me how to divida given image into sections by using pys60.
plz tell me if u have any idea regarding pys60 image processing library extension..
