How to obtain program capabilities in Symbian pre v9

Hi,

I successfully sign and start my application for Symbian v9.x

but I can not do this for Symbian 8.1a

Please, tell me how to obtain program capabilities (like Location,..) for Symbian 8.1a platform if there is a need

or may be other reasons are present

in my program I use UID like 0x07XXXXXX and capabilities
also my application works in emulator and I use petran tool
to enable compression and global variables

please, give me an advice

On Symbian OS pre-v9.0 there is no platform security concept therefore there is no need for capabilities. Signing the application is also optional but recommended.

As for your current problems you have to describe them exactly, there are so many things that could go wrong...
