How to view Indian languages(telugu,tamil etc) font on S60 Browser

Hi,

I read some threads about viewing japanese language fonts on S60 browser,but I didnt get the whole thing.
What I want is, I want to browser the content of the Indian Languages(like telugu,tamil) UTF-8 font on S60 browser(for ex on N95 device). Is it really possible ?
I have the .gdr files of those languages ? will this help me in anyway ?

Can someone help me who has done it or tried it somehow...

i am also searching for an option to display tamil text on Nokia S40 devices. share with me if you have any idea.

I don't think that S40 phones support user-installable font files that could be used to replace system default fonts. Without such support, your only option is to get a suitable firmware version for the phone from Nokia with the language(s) you want.

On S60/Symbian one can install new fonts that override the default fonts. However, uninstalling them is a bit of a problem if you decide you don't like them (and the font has to closely match the size and character height/width of the system font, or many things will start to look weird; misaligned, cut-off or partially displayed etc.).
