Get a subimage.. help needed urgent

hello guys i am doing an image processing application for my project.. well can anybody direct me how to create a new image from an existing image so that pixels with differnt rgb values are stored in the new image... actually the input image consist of a squared area of color part...i want to store this area into a new image....so what to do...hope to get a response soon...

I did not work on it but i read it. You can convert it into byte and then you can also compare it and even we are able to store it on storage device.
