animated gif in a list?

can i add to a list item an animated gif near the text?
if yes, how i can do it?

Im not sure, well Im sure an animated gif is impossible to add to a list; maybe you can make an Sprite animation and then add it to a list by extending a component to threat it like an Sprite; you can find documentation in the javadoc of your j2me api, Midp2.0....etc
I make it something like it but not in a list, it was in a Form, but I think it´s possible to make it in a list; you can ask too the last j2mepolish version, in that, I think there is a chance of use SpriteAnimations so check it at www.j2mepolish.org
