Device driver information

I have read in the wiki about this device driver. But I didn't understand every thing...
Is itpossible for example to access and modify some hard configuration parameters (for exaple in a driver) withough touching the source code ??via this device driver?

Which "this" device driver are you talking about, exactly? A link to the wiki article you are referring to would help.

Sorry I missunderstood the article. It was just talking about genral device drivers. Actually I am searching on how to access drivers parameters..eventually for LCD drivers or any driver generally.
OR if my question is too general, how can one access the phones flash memory via a computer to write some parameters for the driver for example?
