Hi,
I bought a new Nokia N70ME on 15-03-2008.
It has got some preloaded music(DRM protected) in it's memory card which requires an activation key.I contacted the nokia customer care and they did send me the activation keys but still I am unable to play the music.I think the activation period has expired that is why activation key is not working.
when I open the activation keys the message is as follows.
status
activation key valid
content in phone
no
content sending
not allowed
activation (play)
unlimited.
Now if I open the song details of one song it says
File details:
status
activation key expired
content sending
allowed
name:
002-8274-jhuki jhuki si
Type
.aac
date
17/10/2006
time
3:55 am
Size
2155kb
which obviously means the time for activation key has expired and it is not taking the new activation key.
By opening this audio file in wordpad I realised that the encryption method used is AES128CBC.
Is there anybody out here who can help me in playing the song. I have already spent some good money for buying the phone and is not interested to buy some software which does ripping.
If you can give me some java code and then tell me how to reverse the dates it will be useful as i have already got the activation keys.
Thanking you
B.Anand
