NOkia 6150 & data suite 3.0a

I only need to konw if it is A BUG OR WHERE THE PROBLEm is : on telephone , on Windows98 or on data suite 3.0a ?

I installed data suite 3.0a on a win98 laptop.
It's connected through com1 to the 6150 cell phone.
but am im not able to import/export from telephone address book.
the icons are present but not enabled.
also section "outlook 98/2000" is present but in grey (not selectable).
What should i try ?
