    Hi there !

    Is there any way to update/modify the system clock programatically ?

    You could use this method:
    Code:
    import e32

e32.set_home_time(target time in Unix timestamp)
#Meaning seconds since Jan 1 1970
    It works on the emulator, but you might get a "KErrPermissionDenied" on the device. This may mean that you need a certificate with this capability for the application to work. I'm not sure.

    Yes with WriteDeviceData cap it should work on 3rd ed !

    Hi,

    You could also sign it using OpenSigned online at www.symbiansigned.com if you donot have a dev cert for your device.
