S60 Emulator Ethernet Connectivity Problem (S60 2nd ed. FP2)

Hello

I use microsoft visual studio.net 2003 and s60 2nd ed.FP2. I configured my emulator according to this link http://www.redfivelabs.com/kb/archiv...d/default.aspx
to connect to internet through ethernet and successfully ran the HTTPClientExample_S60_2nd_ed and got web pages through get request by the program. But for the last few days I am getting error code -5120 (No response from DNS server) although I get web pages through browsers. I already reconfigured the emulator with the instruction given in the previous link but still the problem persists. It would be a great help for me if you would kindly give me some information about how to solve this problem.

Are you able to get the web-pages through browser in the emulator...
if that is the case, then it is more or less, not the problem with emulator preferences or settings, but seems something wrong with application itself !

also, as u said it had worked earlier, after that did you change anything?

the same can be tested on 2nd FP3 also to verify!

No...I am not getting web pagesd through emulator. Even I reinstalled winxp, visual studio, carbide vs, symbian s60 and ran the program again....but the problem still persists..

did u try this:

configure the emulator to connect to internet in the star menu in the new sdk ?

i m not sure if this exists for FP2 as i have tried this on 2nd edition FP1

Yes..I did this. Even two of my colleagues are using this same version (i.e. sdk, ide...) and successfully running the program.
