camera video problem

hi all,

Actually i am using camera control and record video through our application but its picture quality is not good.so any person have knowledge about it which type improve the quality of picture through j2me code.means set any parameters or any other thing.

On many phones the video and camera quality with Java ME is not as good as with native (built-in) apps. You could try with the resolution parameters, but the upper limit might be lower than what you are able to achieve with the built in camera app. Unfortunately

atleast there may be some way to set parameters in order to make video capturing clearer

Check the MMAPI documentation, for example here

Note, that the parameters might not have any effect if you trying to exceed the available resolution.

Which phone are you using and what is the resolution you are getting?

actually i am using Nokia N95 and i don't know its resolution .its video quality is much poor in comparisson to Nokia N73 and its not supported Jsr 234 so i am not able to use cameraControls like camera resolution.

Only audio parts of the JSR-234 is supported on N95 (or S60 3rd Edition FP1 devices)

hello any one tell to me when i am use this url "capture://video?encoding=video/mp4&width=352&height=288" in player creation then my nokia n80 gives me error player creation failed -6 error .may be this mp4 realted encoding problem but i am also test which format it supported it gives me mp4 is supported so please tell me why it gives error
