How to sign Python shell?

Hello,
i'm developing an application that make use of GPS function and hence location module. I've read that i need to have a signed python shell. I took the file "http://www.cs.helsinki.fi/u/tuulos/PythonScriptShell_1_4_2_TestRange_UID.sis" and i have used the website "https://www.symbiansigned.com/" to sign it using my IMEI.
Now the problem is that when i install the signed file, i get the error: "Update error".
Any idea?

That error is most likely caused by an UID conflict. Possible solutions might be:
-make sure there is no application in the phone using the same UID
-make sure you've uninstalled any previous installation of the shell from your phone and try again (maybe even restart the phone before trying again)

Sorry if this isn't much help, but every time I had the "Update error", changing the UID solved it. Hope it works for you too
