Does S60 FP2 support storage of Class 2 SMS messages in the SIM.
There are only 2 options of storing it either in Phone memory or memory card (if any). Please let me know

Sim functionality is usually implemented with non-public APIs, thus you can not use them with APIs that are available with public SDKs.

    Thanks
So, there are no publicly available APIs from Symbian to support SMS storage in SIM.

Careful, Class 2 SMS messages will automatically be sent to the SIM. This is a special class of message for SIM updates etc. You cannot choose where they go and they can't be used for text messaging between end users or 3rd party applications.

S60 doesn't support writing messages to the SIM but you can read any messages that are in the SIM "inbox". There is an option in the messaging client.
