IAP creation in "Hidden" mode

I have a program which will create AP with default settings (WEP/WPA/WPA2). But im not able to figure out how to set the "Network status" in "Hidden" mode. By default the AP is created in "Public" mode.
The AP created is WLAN

Any help would be appreciated

Is not really an answer to your question, but rather some more information.

How to perform Hidden SSID scan?

In S60 3.2 there is a WLAN Management API method for requesting an active scan for an SSID (direct scan with probe; cannot be used in the offline mode since the phone is not allowed to transmit anything). With this method you can scan for a hidden SSID when you know which SSID you want to scan. However, you need to use WLAN Management API for this. WLAN mngt API is available in the SDK plugins (not in the SDK):

In 3.0/3.1 this method does not exist. Hidden WLANs can only be detected by a GetAvailableIAPs call (in WLAN Management API; this is used e.g. by the component showing the list of available IAPs when an application has been set to the "Always ask" setting). Prior to the call the IAP must exist, have the correct SSID and must have been explicitly set as hidden. This hidden setting is in WLANServiceTable. You need to change this setting in the service table directly from your application. In 3.2 the functionality is the same for the GetAvailableIAPs call.

Please remember that usage of hidden SSIDs will force the handset to perform more scans meaning shorter battery time. Therefore, if possible, do not use hidden SSIDs.
