centering video from server on screen - Sizing

hi...i am trying to play some video from server...The video plays proper but the display of video starts from top left of canvas and extends only upto certain height and width.
My questions:-

1) Is there any way by which video can occuply whole or atleast 95% of canvas?

2) And how do I center the video if above is not completely possible?

When I playback the video after recording, it occupies almost whole screen, but when I play from server, it occupies some fixed small display size and I am not able to change it.

Any inputs please...

Once you have the VideoControl instance of your player, you can modify size and location (assuming you use VideoControl.USE_DIRECT_VIDEO mode) with the following methods:

videoControl.setDisplaySize(videoWidth, videoHeight);
				
videoControl.setDisplayLocation(videoX, videoY);

If you want to center your video within the containing Canvas, you can use getDisplayHeight() and getDisplayWidth() methods of the VideoControl object.

Anyway, behaviour of these methods (in particular of size-related methods) changes from phone to phone, so you can have different behaviours (for example, video size not changed) depending on the target phones.

Thanks for that help. Yeah, I had used USE_DIRECT_VIDEO in VideoControl. Then I did:-

setFullScreenMode(true);
screenW = getWidth();
screenH = getHeight();

After that:-

videoControl.setDisplayLocation(1, 1);
videoControl.setDisplaySize(screenW - 1, screenH - 1);

The video size didnt increase. I think that might be the behaviour with N95.
