I want to use a big Image (as big and even a little bigger than the screensize) as a Background an move some Sprites on top of it... At the moment I made a Sprite out of this Image and placed it in the LayerManager together with aforementioned Sprites...
Now I was wondering if its better to use a TiledLayer with just one big tile (the backgroundImage) just for the background ? So that the two entities (the background and the moving sprites) are separated from each other ?
Would this solution bring any advantages with it ? or disadvantages ?
