Is there any ways to define more than 1 access point on devices, which have the same SSID??

I would guess so: at least it is possible manually in the Settings application.
What have you tried and how it refuses to work?
Hello wizard_hu,
special setting program? or just normal on Nokia?
To define an AP, the SSID is only one parameter. So if there are two AP with the same SSID, How can the Symbian know, which one it wich AP?!
Thanks for your reply.
I do not know the details, I just added a new IAP with exactly the same settings (except the name) as an existing one, and I could use any of them.
Neither I do not really understand the question, why should Symbian be able to differentiate between two "cloned" access points? Details are clarified on connecting the AP.
normally, the Nokia Symbian devices make the WLAN handover by itself.
So, if one AP's signal is weaking, it try to connect one of other APs with the same SSID.
It is named WLAN handover, or AP2AP by Nokia.
I want to figure it out, if there is possiblity to do it by software.
The first thing is, the all APs must be predefined on devices. But the Symbian shows only one entry for the APs with the same SSID. So I can't to define the AP and I can't try to disconnect one AP and connect another at once.
It is just a testing and I think, it takes much time to handle this 'handover' on software level than the nokia's on hardware near.
So the next question is, if it is possible to access the OS's handover from software?!
I think, maybe I should ask Nokia inner experters. But I know nobody there.
