    Is it possible to send the j2me application in background, if yes then how?

    I tried the solution on the link above. It didnt work on my Nokia 6131. It displays the message "Nothing to display". It could be interesting to see if this works on other phones.

    Nokia 6131 is a Series40 phone and, as stated on the linked forum thread:
    You can put a midlet to background only on Symbian phones

    actually you can put a midlet in the background on any MVM supported phone (mvm = multi virtual machine) and for it to keep running.
    some phones let u put a midlet in the background (not programaitcally though) by closing the flip but usually the midlet goes to its pause state.
