how to change sms text color?

How can I change the color of the text I type into the (sms) message dialog? I use carbide.ui and my mobile is a 5310 XpressMusic (S40).

Changing "Apps" --> "Forms" --> "Selected Form Item Font Color" should do.

customization of Selected Form Item Font Color is supported by Series 40 3d Edition Feature Pack 2 phones and newer. Perhaps you have an older phone?
