Symbian 6.1 SDK generates Java asserion failure

Hi,
I recently installed on my machine Symbian 6.1 SDK. When I attempt to create a new project in Sisar I get the following error:

Unrecoverable Error: The program will terminate
com.symbian.sdk.util.assertion.AssertionException: Assertion failed

The program terminates afterwards. I could not find anything in the documentation on this topic. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This problem has been dealt with here quite many times already, the only solution seems to be changing your regional settings to US..
