how to access contact list on my phone ??

i build mobile Application with j2me technology For send SMS message from my midlet,
but i must write phone number for my self in textField,
how can i develop it to choice the send number from phone contact list and copy the number to my textField ??

If you use a PHONENUMBER constraint for your TextField, some phone could automatically allow you to choose the number from ContactList, as stated in JavaDocs:

Implementations may also provide a feature to look up the phone number in the device's phone or address database.

Otherwise, you can use PIM APIs (JSR 75) to manually code the number lookup functionality. An introductory article on PIM:
