    Hi,

Is there any way, from a midlet, to check if the phone has bluetooth support.
Is it also possible to check if the phone supports running midlets in the background?

I would like to have this information so that my midlet can behave differently on different phones. Don't want to show a minimize command on a phone that does not support it.

    Kind regards,
    Fredrik

For bluetooth, you could check the system property bluetooth.api.version

For the background running capability I do not have any solution (by calling platformRequest and checking the return code you learn something, but that way you might end up having your MIDlet sent to beckground ...)
