cknctl.rh : No such file or directory

Hello All,

I am porting application from S80 to S60 3rd. Modified it according to s60 3rd... but while compiling resource file got the error

cknctl.rh : No such file or directory

no such file exists in sdk & no information regarding it available in documentation.

Whats the alternative for cknctl.rh in s60 3rd?
where could i get this?

S80 uses the Crystal DFRD, and Ckn is the abbreviation for it as far as I know.
While S60 calls its customized layer as Avkon, and abbreviates it as Akn.
So Ckn stuff is just not part of the S60 SDK-s.

so whats the alerternative for cknctl.rh in s60? And I think I have to find out alerternative for all the s80 specific ctrls.

cknctl.rh is a resource header. You should rather check, what is the specific resource that the code is trying to use.

thanks for the reply.. m doing the same this resource is used for controll bar in S80.

whats the alternative control in S60 3rd?
