Autostart at device boot-up (UNI-11)

Another requirement is that the autostart feature must not be on by default after install (the idea behind this is that the user must always be in control). A solution to this, if the fearing that the user is unlikely to find and manually set autostart on later, would be to show a dialog during installation. The user would be asked if he wants to set the autostart feature on. If he chooses "yes" the effect would be the same as having it on by default, but here the user is in control. Another plus side of this is that even though the user would not want to set the feature on now, he is still informed about the existence of such feature. This can help him find the feature later on.

During installation of sis file.
1) How I can show a dialog asking user?
2) How I can intercept value that user choose (yes or no)?

Thank you for Kiran. I think your recommendation is only differentate "startup program by Menu (manually start by User)" from "startup program by Startup list Management".

If my program choose autostart on by default, I think it will break the rules of UNI-11 but if my program don't choose autostart on by default, I am afraid that User will not know this AutoStart feature.

It is not mandatory to show in the installation phase as far as i understand. You can create one simple dialog(Yes-No) in the CounstructL() of your AppUi class and ask something like: "Do you want this application to be auto-started on bootup time?". If user selects "Yes" or "No" then store some value in one file. In the subsequent launch of your application, check if there exists such file. If it exists then it means that this is not the first time user is launching the application. And on the basis of this value, give one Option command in your application- "Autostart on/off".
