Hi rishabh,
When you open the message, it will give a pop up type note asking whether to install as a library file or script you just need to select script if you are making scripts.
IDEAS is all they need but still they think only Genius can give them that.
Ya that wht was happening when i was using my Nokia 6681...but to test the xprofile thing i am now using edition 3 mobile phone and in that case it shows it as a note when i open it.Is there any problem with my installing python....because default scripts are running OK
Rishabh
Sorry Rishabh, don't have access to a 3rd edition phone so won't be able to help you.![]()

Hey I have checked and found something.....python in my edition 3 mobile doesnt have default.py as the scripts that are already thr.Does this create any problem....just a wild guess
Rishabh
Hi Rishabh,
Working on the 3rd Edition devices is different then the 2nd Edition devices.
You will have to push the python scripts (py files) into the C:\Python folder. Then you can run these scripts from the Python Interpreter.
Hope that helps,

Ya i thought of that....but how to move it...
Rishabh
You a 3rd party File Explorer which can do that.
I recommend Xplore by LCG
Hope that works for you.

Ya got it....thnx once again...one more thing....for using Misoalarm module in Edition 3 mobile phones...do we require to sign it or normal installation is enough.
Rishabh
I am not sure of the capabilities that misoalarm requires, however a signed version would always work
Moreover you can clarify this with the author of misoalarm, and get to know what capability it requires, by sending him an email through the Forum

Hi ya i checked all the capabilities in that.....because it shows me error when i try to run with self signed version...that misoalarm.pyd is compiled to have the same capabilities as this Python interpreter process.Hey whts the problem now
Rishabh
That problem is caused by a missing recorgnizer for python files (.py .pyd). They were included in 2nd edition phones, but removed from 3rd edition. There is nothing you can do about this, unless you write such yourself in C++.
I use nowadays either USB cable or bluetooth connection. Just drag and drop files into phone disk and that's it.
Occasionally I use as backup also Y-Browser, which contains nice Mailbox browsing plugin. Easy to copy files from inbox into correct python folder.
