We want to build up vpn tunnels between Nokias S60 phones and a strongswan vpn gateway. The gateway itself is behing a nat device. The gateway has been succesfully tested with linux clients.
But with an E50 it seems that the buildup of the tunnel is stuck right after an ISAKMP SA is established. In the log file of the gateway we find:
Jun 3 14:24:40 spd-1145h pluto[7463]: | NAT-T: new mapping 77.25.146.220:500/4500)
Jun 3 14:24:40 spd-1145h pluto[7463]: "fredos-phone"[1] 77.25.146.220:4500 #1: sent MR3, ISAKMP SA established
Jun 3 14:24:40 spd-1145h pluto[7463]: "fredos-phone"[1] 77.25.146.220:4500 #1: received ModeCfg message when in state STATE_MAIN_R3, and we aren't mode config client
...
After some time the connection is deleted.
Is it true, that using the vpn client of Nokia phones, tunnels can only be established when Nokia hardware is used on the gateway side?
Any suggestions are welcome
Fredo
