Hi,

I have applied for a developer certificate from Symbian and got the certificate (.cer), I need the key file to sign my app. Where do I get the key from ? Please help.

You should use the original key, which is the pair to the cer file you used for making the developer certificate.

Yes it is the same key what was the input when you gave ur Publisher ID and Key pair ....

Thanks for your quick replies, but it didn't solve the problem.
During installation is shows the following error - "Certificate error. Contact the application supplier.". What should I do now ?

no, this means the key mostly is correct...

Are you sure you have selected all the capabilities and correct IMEI during certificate generation and also your APPlication requires only those capabilities?

Hi Amit,

I reused the application - DevCertRequest and uploaded the .cer file and downloaded the developer certificate. Now, everything seems to be OK. Don't have a clue as to what went wrong. Thanks a lot dude.
