    Hi all,
Can we able to design an midlet application which ll run the flash lite file(.swf).
    The scenario is like this.
There r some flash lite files located in a location like my sql server. Our application(midlet) should be able to dispaly those flash lites on mobile screen. When we run that flash lite( by selecting anyone),it should be able to run it.We need to connect to the databse server for retriveing flash lite.(through httpconnection). Can we able to do connect to the sql server through jdbc in midlet ?

    Thanks,
    Sanat Kumar Meher

I don't understand... Do you want to do it through Python too? The thread I provided exaplains that it won't work with a midlet.

This article explains it. The idea is to open the swf file with the default application (Flash Lite player, in this case). Though I'm not sure about the sql server part, but that's probably possible too.

Yes. I haven't tested this much but it should work. Here's an example of how to download and view a video. You can just make the necessary small modifications for your project.
