Why can not I export the private key from my Windows Internet Explorer?

Hello everybody,

I am in trouble, and need your help very much!

I am acting with the description in Getting_Ready_For_Symbian_Signed_v1_0_en.exe, but when I select the menu Tools, and open the Internet Option dialog, I select the button 'certificates' , and when I open the certificate dialog, I can not find anything in the listbox on personal option page. why is It empty! Then I look for the certificate named Nokia on other option page, but I still can not find it . What's wrong with it?
now I have no idea what to do, and how to resolve it. Can anybody help me this? I will appreciate it very much.

hello Paul, Thanks for your reminding. I ignore the voice part of that .exe guide.
and you're right I have not purchased the published id yet.

If you want/need to use the Open Signed Offline process during the R&D stage of your project then yes, you need a PubliserID and therefore you will have to buy it.

Depending on your project's needs it is however possible to release self-signed commercial application and thus it might be possible (at least in theory) that you do not need a PublisherID at all.

Then I looked at the graph, the basic and some of system capabilities are included in my project.

so, I think I should use the item "open signed online", if this, Need I purchase the PublisherID?

No, you do not need the Publisher ID.
Note that Symbian Signed has a documentation, visit www.symbiansigned.com and you will quickly find "The Complete Guide To Symbian Signed". That is a rather complete guide to Symbian Signed.

After reading the guide document and looking at the graph on Lucian Tomuta's Forum Nokia Blog, I have understood the process. I will try to sign my project through Open signed online.
