Hallo at all,

I'm working on my diploma and my target is to develope
a Programm for Symbian, that can encrypt the phonecall
using this : LINK TO AES.

My Quetion is:
Should i use the existing connection on the cell-phone
(meaning the original "cell -> GSM -> cell" connection)
and somehow encrypt the data before the transport to the other cell phone

OR

Should i write a whole new programm that will use
the methods of Symbian OS, to start a normal phone call?

I have not seen any methods that could modify the voice data on normal calls, so I hope you are doing VoIP..

Anyway, I would also consider making a VoIP client to be a bit too big project for a thesis/diploma work, but if you have loads of experience, it of course could be doable.

All and all, in that wiki page there is also links to the Symbian crypting libraries, and I would consider them to be propably be better options, so have a look into them.
