Is is possible to configure the standard menu using Java in any Java-phone?

For example, I'd like to set the sequence in which the standard menu items are displayed. Is is something I can do with java in the java -enabled phones?

If you mean by standard menu the native UI menu, then the asnwer is that with Java that can not be done because os security features which do not allow access to the native side.

But please if you meant something else please give a bit more
information.
