8310 as a laptop modem???

PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP ME????
My laptop is running Windows XP and i need to use my 8310 as a modem. I have had connection between devices through IRDA but don't know how to setup and utilise devices to access internet!
Any help would be much appreciated.

You can apparently use the Modem irDA that should be autodetected, and installed by XP when you activate the IRed on your phone. This will allow you to create a dialup account as per usual modems, just using 'standard modem over irDA' as the modem.

Try this, I have had no luck with getting the GPRS to work under XP, which is a bit of a bastard really. :P Have fun with your phone, great as it is without this.
