    Hi,

I am able to connect my Nokia 3100 to PC (Windows XP) using CA-42 cable and Nokia PC Suite 7.0.7

I want to transfer my J2ME application to my Nokia 3100. My mobile has 465 Kb free memory left and the application folder of my mobile is empty. Now when I am copying the JAD file using either drag-and-drop or "Install application" feature of Nokia PC Suite, it says size of the application is too large. I don't know why this is happening. The application is just 20 Kb only. I read somewhere that Nokia 3100 allows 64Kb for java application.

Can anybody tell what would be the problem?

    Thanks in advance.

The device specification says: "Max JAR Size: 63 KB"

    Hi Petrib,

Thanks for correcting me but still my application is only 20 KB which is lesser than 63 KB.
Do you know what could be the problem? Why I am not able to transfer the jar file to my mobile?
