    Hi,

I've got very nice game that uses touch screen and I'd like to port this game for Nokia touch screen devices.
Could someone point me out where I can download an SDK for these devices from ?
I'm thinking especially about Nokia Tube (5800) which runs S60 5th edition (Symbian OS v9.4) ? correct me if I'm wrong.

    Thnkas in advance!
    K.

AFIK there no information about "Nokia Tube" except some rummer floating around. So you should wait till device and its SDK is realsed.

That SDK is not available for the public yet. You can try joining a developer program (Launchpad, Pro), or wait for a public release.

You could alternatively port it first to UIQ devices since a number of those are already touchscreen (http://developer.uiq.com). At least this way, you could get some Symbian C++ experience and port your engine and generic code. The UI code would differ since the platforms aren't the same, but if you've been careful in your design, a lot of the code could still be re-used.

Just a thought. Perhaps you already have a UIQ version though...?

    Thanks for answers!

My game is originally written for UIQ3 and iPhone, so it shouldn't be too difficult to port it to s60. I've got some Symbian C++ experience.

Do you know when the SDK and Tube will be available ?

    Thanks
    M.

As said, any future SDKs, will be available when they are, and if there have not been official announcements, then I'm rather sure that anybody could give you any schdule for it.
