MMS: Cross Network does not work, why?

Hi,

Despite being new (joined today!) i am really impressed with the high level of help many advanced (smart people!)users are giving the newcommers.

I bought my 7650 a week or so ago and discoverd to my horror two days ago that i cannot send a picture from my phone to friends on other networks! I have seen no sign of any mention of this on any ads or promotional material.

Currently, any images i do get, i have to physically log onto the web (using a pc) to view the image! A waste of time and energy in my view. Any ideas as two a)why why cross networking is not possible, b) when this might be resolved, c)how can i send pics to my pc (it does not have bluetooth) without having to pay for them!

c) Use infrared.
