    Hi,

I'm new to all this so bear with me...

    I've installed PAMP and PyS60.

What I need to do is this:
    - Launch a Python script from the browser
    - Have the script open a simple camera viewfinder and use it to take a photo
    - return the photo for the browser

I have been able to take a photo by calling a Python script, but every time I try to use a viewfinder I get nothing. Similar code works when the script is run with the Python launcher. Also, how can I return the photo for the browser?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi

This is not a direct reply but might work for you. MWS allows accessing camera from web with exactly the same functionality that you have stated.

You'll need to first uninstall PAMP as MWS must be installed before PAMP (you can install PAMP after installing MWS). You'll also need to register online with mymobilesite.net.

I've PyS60 (1.4.4), MWS and PAMP installed on my E71. It works!

    Cheers

Damn.. I had MWS installed previously, but couldn't get it to run on my N95 8GB. So, I removed it. Now when I try to install it again it says that I already have it installed and replacing the installation leads to an error.

I got the MWS to install. Now, do I need PAMP too to get this to work?

Any chance for a sample code?

No you do not need to install PAMP, though you may, if you wish to. PAMP basically just installs PHP & Mysql if you already have MWS. You'd need to register on mymobilesite.net.

mritun, do you actually have managed to successfully open camera's viewfinder over MWS or PAMP?

If so, could you post a code sample?
