I need to use socket connection and I know that MIDP 2.0 will support it (am I right?) so when MIDP 2.0 released can my NK6100 upgrade firmware to get the new MIDP 2.0?

It will be too good to be true. MIDP 2.0 in real phones will be not early Q4 2003 and Nokia give you one more chance to buy their new phone will be much more better then 6100.
