i need 2 communicate with a bluetooth device using my mobile for it to perform some operations. do i need 2 write the codes for bluetooth detection or will my mobile itself will deal with my part

well i want 2 communicate with an external bluetooth device . my phone is bluetooth enabled. and i wish 2 communicate with d external device from my mobile

It is still hazy what you want. Anyway, check BT and examples guides on FN main site, www.forum.nokia.com, Documentation / Symbian C++ on the left, Networking.
The phone will not communicate with arbtrary BT devices on its own, you will most probably have to develop your own application.
