    Hi!

    UCP and CIMD protocols are used for communication between Nokia M2M Gateway and SMSC (Short Message Service Centre) or between Nokia M2M Gateway and USSDC (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data Centre).

    UCP= Universal Computer Protocol
    CIMD= Computer Interface to Message Distribution

    Nokia M2M Gateway (Corporate Edition & Service Provider Edition) supports following SMSC/USSDC protocols:
    CIMD 2.0
    SMPP 3.3 ? 3.4 (with support to use binary messages and UDH header)
    UCP 3.2 ? 3.5 (with support to use binary messages and UDH header)

    BR,
    M2M Developer Support Team
