Help with cell id on S60 FP 1

Hi!

I would like to get the cell id on 6110 Nokia S60 3ªEdition FP 1.
I improved with this methods:
System.getProperty("com.nokia.mid.cellid");
but I only get a "null" response.

I have some questions:
1 - Anybody knows the String for getProperty method??
2 - Must the .jad be signed??

May be, get cell-id is easier for others platforms or models, but I only have this mobile. It's for the last subject at university.

Hi and welcome to the Forum Nokia discussion boards.

I believe that getting cellid is only possible on S60 3rd Edition, FP2 or newer devices. That's what it says in this article. That is why you were getting "null" (the article also says that the midlet doesn't have to be signed to work on S60 devices).

That information given by Bogdan is correct. It's only possible from S60 3rd. FP 2 devices (all models) or 3.0 or 3.1 devices from E-Series, such as E61 or E65.
