Custom Folder Problems on S40

Hi,
I have developed a file browser that almost works fine on S40 devices (6300 and etc) but it doesn't show me my custom created folders in the gallery and the files in it.

Does any body know where can i find these folders?

Hint: you can create a custom folder by pressing the left soft key in the gallery and select "Add Folder option".

Hi,
an Interesting finding is that whenever you create a folder on Gallery root the above thing happen but when you create a folder inside pictures or any other native folder then that is accessible from the FileConnection API.

Is it the known issue of S40?

as you can see here:

only some folders are publicly accessible on S40 devices. So if you create a folder under one of these public folders, then it will be visible from your Java ME application too. Otherwise it will not, as in your case when you create a folder just under "Gallery".
