N95 Hidden Access Points

I have an issue on the N95; and am wondering if it's normal...

When using an HTTP connection the device pops up a box first asking for allowance to send/receive data. After choosing 'yes' the application appears to simply freeze.

However, what's happening is that the next dialog that pops up; requesting the access point; is either behind the J2ME app, or just not popping up.

As soon as I switch out of the J2ME app the Access Point dialog appears.

I don't mind the fact that the dialog is needed, I know that's to do with signing and app-properties. It's the fact that the Access Point dialog isn't immediately visible to the user.

Any ideas?

Hi,
Is your application is using multiple HTTP connections. I too got the same problem on Nokia 3250. Better synchronize your HTTP connections.

Nope. Only one connection at any one time; in a separate thread to the main render & logic loop.

What does the other (non-networking) thread do?

Are you using yields in your code (replace them with short sleep commands and see what happens)?
